Been out of the country for a few weeks, but while I was there this happened - my friend (and fellow Canadian-born Kiwi) Eleanor Catton's second novel, The Luminaries, made in onto the Man Booker prize long list! Naturally this has led to my images of her turning up lots of places, including (I believe) the back cover of the book itself - though sadly for me, a great number of them are uncredited, like on the actual Booker Prize site, and one that appeared in the Globe & Mail while I was over in Canada.  But still, it's such good news, I can't help but be happy for her!

(Of course, every time one of the photos is credited, I keep expecting my last name to gain an N at the end as someone assumes I'm family...)

Here are a few of the ones I took of her, while I was living in Wellington - all taken in about an hour, one afternoon.  Can't wait to get a copy of the book...
