Richie Havens at WOMAD Taranaki, 2005

Sorry to hear of Richie Havens' passing this morning, I remember him fondly from his appearance at WOMAD Taranaki in 2005.  There was such a warmth to him, not just in the tone of his voice, but in his complete personality on stage.  Great man, and a part of music history from his appearance at Woodstock many years ago, who never stopped doing what he was meant to do...
