Had a wonderful couple of weeks earlier in the year with visiting Canadian singer-songwriter Jane Siberry, organising a series of house concerts here in Wellington; and the ever-generous Jane has just sent this note to her friends and fans…

dear everyone,
imagine a pine tree in the forest
a few winter birds hop among the branches
tree tops catch the wind and translate
yet stillness abounds
you remember
a bunny is busy with something beneath the tree
look! a present for you!

love,
jane siberry

So here’s a link to download two of her albums, Shushan The Palace (hymns of earth) and Child (Music for the Christmas Season) - which is one of my favourite albums of hers, especially at this time of year.  I found it in a shop in Sydney in 1997, and it reintroduced me to the greatness of Jane. I had forgotten.

So, enjoy! Share! Say thanks on her Facebook page! All of the above!
